Lynx supplies and supports muxponders that let operators grow capacity while keeping budgets predictable. Each one-rack-unit chassis can aggregate mixed 10 GbE, 25 GbE, 40 GbE, 100 GbE and matching Fibre Channel services up to 100 G per client, into a single 100 G, 200 G or 400 G uplink that uses OTU2 or OTU4 framing. This flexible mix reduces wavelength shortages, improves fibre use, and simplifies service consolidation and capacity expansion.
Can be set as four 100 GbE muxponders or four 400 GbE transponders. With the optional in-chassis mux / demux, EDFA and optical switch the unit lights four 400 G wavelengths and, with the chosen FEC, reaches up to about 4 000 km.
Combines 10 / 25 / 100 GbE, Fibre Channel and OTU traffic into two 200 G, 300 G or 400 G line ports. Dual CFP2-DCO optics with oFEC suit metro and long-haul spans. Optional amplifiers and an optical switch can be included for higher loss budgets.
Aggregates mixed 10 GbE, 100 GbE and Fibre Channel services into one 200 G wavelength. Integrated amplifiers and an optional switch extend reach to about 200 km without inline sites or roughly 1 000 km with them, subject to fibre quality.
Works in muxponder, transponder or add-drop mode for short rings and access links. Encryption, GFEC or SD-FEC and in-chassis amplifiers can be enabled at purchase or added later under licence.
Consolidates up to sixteen sub-10 G services into one or two 10 G OTU2 uplinks. Optional EDFA, mux / demux and optical switch modules are available for fibre-limited or space-constrained sites.
Note: Availability of in-chassis amplification, switching and encryption depends on the configuration supplied for each deployment.
They aggregate multi-protocol, multi-rate traffic up to 100 G per service into a single 100 G, 200 G or 400 G DWDM uplink, which reduces wavelength shortages and improves fibre utilisation.
Muxponders in this portfolio offer 100 G, 200 G and 400 G uplink options that use OTU2 or OTU4 framing.
The platforms accept a mix of Ethernet, Fibre Channel, OTU and other standard services, up to 100 G per client signal.
Yes. Every model includes optional AES-256 Layer 1 encryption for line-rate security.
Yes. Lynx muxponders use standards-based pluggable optics and pay-as-you-grow licensing, so additional capacity or features can be enabled later without forklift upgrades.
